ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
Upon entering the park you will receive a schedule sheet telling the times of all animal shows, Dino Digs, and giraffe and parrot feedings.

ANIMAL SHOWS
We offer two different live animal shows every day from May 1 through Labor Day. (No shows in the fall.)

Wildlife Encounters Show

During the lively animal shows, you will see baby animals, colorful parrots, and interesting reptiles all close up. You can even pet an alligator and python. (Don't worry. It's safe!}

PETTING ZOO

Go right in with tame deer, lambs, and goats. Pet them and give them a hug!

NEW: DINOSAUR OUTPOST

Do The Dino Dig and fossil hunts. Take your picture on a Triceratops or as a dinosaur hatchling!

TURTLE TOWN

Mingle with The African Tortoises.
GIRAFFE FEEDING

Twiga, our friendly reticulated giraffe, is one of the most popular animals at Claws 'N' Paws. He loves to come visit with people and give big slurpy kisses.

You may feed Twiga at one of the keeper talks held each day. We provide you with carrots. No other food may be given to him at any time as he is on a special diet.

LORY PARROT FEEDING

At scheduled times each day, visitors may enter the lory parrot aviary and mingle with the birds. We give you a chunk of apple and the colorful, friendly lories fly over, land on you and eat from the apple. This is a very exciting experience!

Lories are small parrots found mainly in Australia and Indonesia. Our birds, by nature friendly and inquisitive, were bred in this country and hand- raised to be especially sweet and gentle. They have their own unique, quirkly personalities and tend to look upon human beings as great big bird toys put on earth for their entertainment.

Claws 'N' Paws was the first zoo on the east coast to open a lory feeding area. Many visitors return again and again just to go in with these delightful birds. Don't miss it!
